i want to copy and paste ezras tweets to my fb statuses and just feel really cool

I’d never considered wearing a watch before, but it struck me as a sensible step toward spending less time on my phone. It’s one less reason to pull out my “precious”—-and perhaps a small step away from that hyperconnected, everything-all-of-the-time modern anxiety. I’ll admit it’s hard to fully trust something that’s not connected to the Internet, but I think, with time, it’ll work out.

vampire weekend, you make my life
congrats!!!!!! i’m sure it’ll be in good hands. ill message you for details!
I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on my Arctic Monkeys tshirt and I’m so flattered! People have been requesting a guide on how to make one of their own which I highly encourage, and if you do, pleaseeeeee send me pictures so i can see what you all come up with!! :)
Materials:
- Cutting surface (I use a cutting mat)
- Xacto knife
- Shirt
- Spray paint
- Design outline (print out or hand-drawn)
- Plastic gloves
Step 1: Getting your design
For this step, there’s two ways to approach it. For first timers, I recommend printing out a simple black and white logo design. If you feel confident in your art skills though, feel free to draw out your own design! Keep it simply black and white. For example, I used the standard 2006 WPSIATWIN Arctic Monkeys logo and hand-drew it out on a plain sheet of paper.
Step 2: Cutting your design
Next, you’re going to want to cut out only the black parts of your strictly black and white drawing/design. This will make it so that when you spray paint over the design, only the cut out parts will be getting spray paint (the initially black parts of the design).
Step 3: Preparing to spray paint
Once you have a cut out design, you’re almost ready to get to the fun part! Put on plastic gloves. Find a place (preferably outdoors) that’s not windy and will be able to get rid of the spray paint smell relatively quickly. Place your design over your shirt on the desired area.
Step 4: SPRAYYYYYYYYYY!!
Follow instructions on your specific spray paint can and get ready…1….2…..3….gooooooooo!! Hold your design down with your gloved hands to get sharper edges but make sure not to put your fingers in any of the cut out spaces because then you’ll miss spraying that part! Once you’ve got every part of the design sprayed, wait a few seconds. After 10 seconds or so, life up your design and behold your MASTERPIECE!!!!!
I hope you guys ALL try this out because it’s a blast and there’s limitless things you can do with this idea! Cheers x
thanks a lot!! I do, really i can do any standard logo and since theres been so much interest if people want to make requests to purchase shirts, id be up for it!
no problemo, ill be posting a how-to within the next 24 hours :)
